ygap is an international development agency which aims to create an equitable and sustainable world through entrepreneurship.
Since April 2021, Marisha has worked as the Program Manager of the ygap First Gens Accelerator Program. In April 2022, Marisha was promoted to Australian Country (National) Manager.
In her new role, Marisha will work alongside climate researchers, advocates and non-profit organisations to create a ‘Climate Lens’. This will address; climate risks, mitigation and resilience, how to create sustainable supply chains and reduce ecological footprints as a small business. It is through this lens that refugee, migrant and people of colour (POC) owned small businesses will be able to learn more about the impacts of climate change and how to address this issue moving forward.
